Professor Koji Okamoto of the Nuclear Professional School, School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, will be retiring from the University at the end of March 2026.
In honor of his retirement, we are pleased to host a seminar titled 'Special Seminar on Nuclear Systems,' featuring a final lecture by Professor Koji Okamoto. We cordially invite you to participate in this academic event to discuss the future of nuclear engineering and commemorate the Professor's contributions to the field.
The lecture will be held in a hybrid format, combining an in-person session at the Sanjo Conference Hall (The University of Tokyo) with a real-time online broadcast via Zoom. The lecture will be conducted in English, with the theme "Visualizing the Future."
Following the lecture, a celebration party will be held at the same venue.
We kindly ask you to register your attendance (either in person or online) via the form below by Monday, February 23, 2026. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
